Dr. Cutler, Institutional PI at Northwestern University, will collaborate with the lead PI at IIT to develop and expand joint research investigating: the development of new algorithms to extract consumer insights from online social network and text data; the study of brand-consumer dynamics in social media; and the evolution of perceptions over time. Dr. Cutler’s activities at Northwestern will involve the collection and analysis of both primary and secondary data, theory development when applicable, and writing.
