Description
The Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS) would like to work with Illinois’ two designated Health Information Technology Regional Extension Centers (RECs), CHITREC (Northwestern University) and IL-HITREC (NIU) to assist with education and outreach to support eligible healthcare provider enrollment and participation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) Provider Incentive Payment (PIP) Program which aims to help providers who see Medicaid patients in the state of Illinois adopt and achieve Meaningful Use (MU) of certified EHR technology.
