Project Details
Description
The Illinois Surgical Quality Improvement Collaborative (ISQIC) has a mission of improving the safety and quality of surgical care in Illinois. Hospitals are provided with detailed data regarding their performance compared to other Illinois hospitals, along with the tools to enact meaningful improvements in surgical care.
The collaborative holds an annual conference for our participants as an opportunity to learn about the collaborative's initiatives, share data, network, and learn about future projects. Participants include clinicians, quality managers, surgeons, and hospital administrators. We received the unrestricted funds from Medtronic, a medical device company, to help support the costs of our annual conference in the amount of $7,500. Conference costs that will be covered include CEU accreditation expense, supplies, recording of the conference, and costs relating to hosting our scientific poster session.
