Impact of Simulation-based Mastery Learning on Massive Hemoptysis Management for Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellows and Advanced Practice Providers

Our aim is to leverage high-fidelity simulation of massive hemoptysis using a mastery learning curriculum with rapid-cycle deliberate practice (RCDP) to teach trainees to a rigorous, competency-based standard. We hope to demonstrate significant improvement in learner perceptions of self-efficacy as well as objective performance in managing massive hemoptysis.
