Description

Dr. Cooper will lead the application of machine learning algorithms to the renal transplant biopsy images. He will co-supervise a graduate student at Emory University with Dr. Gutman to apply these algorithms to the curated datasets, to analyze the results, and to assist with the development of manuscripts. He will also advise and assist with the development and implementation of an annotation protocol to prepare training data from digital images. Dr. Cooper will assist with preparation and submission of manuscripts to academic journals, preparation of talks for scientific symposia, and preparation of Research Performance Progress Reports for the NIDDK.
