Project Details
Description
The HIV Data Enclave will create new opportunities for secure, de-identified data sharing with multiple community organizations, medical providers, health departments and other jurisdictions, and researchers. This will allow for a more effective and coordinated response, inform new interventions to reduce new HIV infections, and increase retention in care and viral suppression among PLWH in Illinois. More specifically, Northwestern will conduct the following activities: 1) adapt and implement the HIV Data Enclave; 2) develop protocols and output reports to use information from the Data Center to conduct multijurisdictional coordinated HIV prevention and care response; 3) collaborate with CDPH and IDPH to create and implement a statewide HIV dashboard to guide prevention and care efforts throughout the state; and 4) evaluate the use and impact of the HIV Data Enclave to streamline and coordinate public health programs between CDPH and IDPH.
