Description
The Neuromechanical Research Engineer will provide complex scientific and technical leadership in determining research priorities. Their role will be to assist with planning, design, and execution of research projects, ensuring that programs of investigation meet specified objective of the Human Agility Laboratory research group and assist project team members in planning, designing, and conducting research in the Human Agility Laboratory. Specifically, the neuromechanical research engineer will plan, develop, and implement new experiments and research. They will also take a lead role in collecting data during experiments. The neuromechanical research engineer will co-author scientific papers for presentation and publication. They will also train and supervise lab research staff. The neuromechanical research engineer will also work with the PI to ensure lab adherence to all associated rules and regulations. Finally, the neuromechanical research engineer will oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all laboratory equipment.
