Description
Dr. Ochs earned her PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has worked as a research assistant and maintained WOC status with Keith Gordon since Jan. 2018. Dr. Ochs is trained and has expertise in all aspects of the current project having conducted similar experiments with Dr. Gordon during her current employment period. Dr. Ochs has experience in several areas of importance to our research project including: designing current experimental protocols and associated equipment, calibrating and acquiring data from our motion capture system, processing this specific data writing LabVIEW and MATlab code to analyze large data sets and creating summary figures for manuscripts, and presentations.
Dr. Ochs will be expected to perform the following duties:
1) preparation of figures and text for research dissemination
2) processing and analysis of data collected
3) advising on experimental device design
4) advising on experimental study design
5) advising on data collections including equipment calibrations
6) assisting with LabVIEW coding
7) editorial contributions to manuscripts and grant proposals
