Description
ALS is a complex disease but novel targets for building treatment strategies are beginning to emerge. There are proteins secreted to the blood of ALS patients and these proteins not only suggest the pathways that are perturbed in the patients, but also hint the presence of novel targets to improve the health of motor neurons and the motor neuron circuitry.
