Description
Tom Kmiecik has experience measuring adherence to new composite VTE process measure evaluating a patient's entire stay at 51 member hospitals in Illinois. This collaborative have extensive experience working directly with hospitals on VTE prophylaxis interventions. This program is one of eight programs nationwide to be recognized by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as a healthcare-associated VTE prevention champion.
