Kettering Foundation Asset Based Community Development at Northwestern's Center for Civic Engagement

These funds from the Kettering Foundation are to provide general operating support for the Asset Based Community Development Institute at Northwestern's Center for Civic Engagement. Building on a decades long relationship between ABCD and the Foundation, these funds are intended as a continuation of the support the Foundation has provided for the work and activities of faculty, staff, students, and community partners as they explore the future of asset-based community development work in the U.S. and internationally. The work will involve periodic conversations and meetings with foundation staff focused on our institutions' shared interests in civic engagement and community development.
