Mechanical Testing of Rubber/Metal Interfaces in Extreme Environments

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

The goal of this project is to develop a testing methodology for assessing the fatigue strength of bonded metal/rubber interfaces at a wide range of temperature(-70℃ to 150 ℃) .The approach will be applied to silicone-based elastomers and natural rubber samples with bulk fatigue properties analysis as part of current BIAM project.
