Description
The Medill School of Journalism, Media, Integrated Marketing Communications at Northwestern University will launch the Medill Local News Accelerator, a program designed to spur innovation and improve sustainability of Chicago news organizations. With this Accelerator initiative, Medill will work directly with Chicago news outlets on audience and financial strategies, lead experiments to improve consumer engagement, create a new, immersive Media Leadership Training Program, provide student interns to support reporting and product development, and socialize new learnings through articles and an annual News Sustainability Summit.
