Description
The U.S. faces an urgent need for accurate and increased health reporting. Misinformation drives the growing U.S. assault on documented science and healthcare access. This is obvious in challenges to COVID-19 protocols and the inequitable access to NCD treatment and prevention. The World Health Organization’s Noncommunicable Disease Journalism Training programs aim to address this need, and the Medill School of Journalism, Media, Integrated Marketing Communications at Northwestern University is uniquely positioned to deliver this program.
