Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

SCOPE OF WORK Dr. Sanjiv Shah, collaborator and site PI at Northwestern University, will be responsible for the recruitment, enrollment, consenting, and performance of study procedures on the study patients. Dr. Shah is Director of the Northwestern University Heart Failure with Preserved Ejection Fraction (HFpEF) Program (n=1200+), the first and largest dedicated HFpEF program in the world. He therefore has unique access to the types of patients who will be recruited into the study. Dr. Shah will ensure that adequate numbers (and correct type) of patients are enrolled, and that they undergo all study procedures including phlebotomy, cardiac MRI, and cardiac catheterization with coronary flow wire measurements. Dr. Shah will provide data to Dr. Blair, the study PI, and they will meet regularly to discuss the progress of the project. Dr. Shah will also mentor Dr. Blair and provide assistance with statistical analysis and manuscript preparation and submission.
