Midwest Geobiology Symposium 2022

The annual Midwest Geobiology Symposium will be hosted at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, on October 1, 2022, following a meet-and-greet event on September 30. The goals of this day-long meeting are to provide geobiologists around the Midwest 1) an inclusive and accessible space to share their latest research and 2) opportunities to develop or expand their professional network. The meet-and-greet or “icebreaker” event will take place at a nearby restaurant the evening of September 30, where food and refreshments will be provided. From past welcome events, we anticipate 50-60 attendees. Likewise, we expect to welcome approximately 100 researchers from the region to the Symposium itself on October 1.
