Project Details
Description
This project is a continuation of the excellent ongoing research within the community regarding the feasibility and effectiveness of modifying off-the-shelf ride on cars for children with mobility challenges. Though there are builds taking place all over the world to supply any child in need of mobility with a modified car, there is little literature to determine the unique goals of the cars for each individual and limited follow-up on how the car is used in the home and community. This research will help us to improve builds in the future by identifying barriers and facilitators, which can be addressed during goal setting and the car modification process.
