Models of Active Events in Hippocampal Neurons and Microcircuits

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

This project brings William Kath to Janelia to work primarily with Nelson Spruston’s lab. The primary purpose of the visitor project is for Spruston and Kath to continue their collaborative work on modeling and experimental analysis of hippocampal neurons and microcircuits. In addition to his collaborative work with Spruston, Kath would like to spend time talking to others at Janelia, looking for other opportunities for collaboration. Kath has a long history of applying his mathematical modeling and analytical skills to a range of problems, including optical physics and cancer biology, in addition to his neuroscience work with Spruston.
