Mothers and Babies Training and Technical Assistance FY22-State of Illinois MIECHV Program Mothers and Babies Training and Implementation Resources. The Mothers and Babies (MB) team will maintain online resources for training and implementation of the MB curriculum. The MB team will post videos of MB intervention sessions between clients and home visitors to support training and implementation. All MB training and implementation resources and session delivery videos will be hosted on the MB website (www.mothersandbabiesprogram.org) for home visiting programs, providers, clients and consultants to access. The MB team will provide MIECHV with brief communications highlighting MB resources and video sessions to encourage and support ongoing implementation, for dissemination to MIECHV home visiting program staff. MB-TXT Messaging Platform. The MB team will maintain the Healthy SMS MB-TXT text messaging platform for use by Illinois home visitors, whose training and access began in FY20, to supplement MB intervention delivery with text messages. 100% of Illinois home visitors, whose MB-TXT training and access began in FY20, will continue to have access to utilize the MB-TXT text messaging platform to supplement MB intervention delivery, if they choose to maintain access. The MB team will conduct outreach, training, and technical support for current and additional home visitors to use the MB-TXT platform to supplement MB intervention delivery. All MB-trained Illinois home visiting programs, who have not previously participated, who will receive information, and be offered training and technical support to use the MB-TXT platform to supplement their MB intervention delivery. Lead the Change CoIIN. The MB team will follow up with Illinois MIECHV home visiting programs that participate in MB training as part of the Lead the Change CoIIN to assess additional needs and obtain feedback on the overall training including, but not limited to, various components of the MB program. The MB team will support Illinois MIECHV home visiting programs that implement a PDSA cycle (as part of maternal depression CoIIN) focused on utilizing MB-TXT with program participants. Infant Mental Health Consultant Training. MB team will plan and implement webinars for Infant Mental Health Consultants (IMHC) supporting MIECHV home visiting programs to support continued MB program dissemination and implementation support among Illinois’ home visiting programs.
