Structure-Function Relationship of Retinal Capillary Non-Perfusion in Three Capillary Plexuses

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

Aim of the Study Aim (with hypothesis): Macular ischemia secondary to retinal capillary dropout in the superficial (SCP), middle (MCP) and deep (DCP) capillary plexuses will result in retinal structural changes in the corresponding retinal layer perfused by each respective capillary plexus. A. Goal: To match capillary non-perfusion in capillary plexuses to retinal structural changes in retinal tissue perfused by each respective plexus.
