Under the subcontract, Northwestern University will work with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and will serve as a sub-award site for the project, “Natural Language Processing and Automated Speech Recognition to Identify Older Adults with Cognitive Impairment”. Dr. Wolf will oversee all aspects of the recruitment and data collection activities at Northwestern throughout all years of the project. Northwestern’s research team will be responsible for recruiting and collecting data from a total of 200 participants. Dr. Wolf and Laura Curtis will also work with Drs. Wisnivesky and Federman to analyze and interpret data, co-author and lead manuscripts, and support the general scientific oversight of the project. They will conduct bi-weekly telephone conference calls with Drs. Federman and Wisnivesky and will provide their expertise about qualitative research and cognitive impairment.
