Project Details


1. Data retrieval and maintenance: a. Retrieve neuroimaging and non-imaging data from SchizConnect (, which consists data from NU, FBIRN, and COINS. Retrieval updates will be performed annually as new data are being made available to SchizConnect on an annual basis, totaling about 2,000 for this proposed project. b. Retrieved data are stored on NUNDA. 2. Pipeline implementation and execution: a. Multi-atlas segmentation and statistical shape analysis pipelines developed at CIS will be implemented as automatic pipelines on NUNDA (with remote processing being carried out at MriCloud as proposed). b. Testing will be performed to ascertain performance. c. Retrieved imaging data from SchizConnect will be analyzed using these pipelines with QA performed by a neuroscience graduate student. 3. Database for processed data and output variables: a. All processed data will be stored on NUNDA. b. All output variables will be stored on NUNDA as files. c. For key output variables such as structural volume and shape measures, custom XML schemas will be created so that these variables can be stored on NUNDA as queriable datasets.
