Neutrino Theory Network

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

One postdoctoral fellow will be employed by Northwestern University to work on beyond standard model searches in the neutrino sector under the supervision of Prof. André de Gouvêa as part of the Neutrino Theory Network initiative. The postdoc will work on several directions: beyond standard model searches at the neutrino experiments within the effective field theory framework, model building in the neutrinos sector as the source of neutrino masses, and dark sector and dark matter phenomenology in neutrino experiments. An initial list of projects is being discussed and the postdoctoral fellow will be essential to carry out the technical work as well as to identify new directions for exploration. The postdoc and the PI will take part in regular collaboration meetings with members of the Northwestern theory group, as well as with the neutrino experts of Fermilab theory group. The postdoc will also collaborate with experimentalists at Fermilab.
