In the SaFE-NC project, Dr. Huang will be the statistician collaborating with the research team and contributing to various steps throughout the study. Prior to the implementation of SaFE-NC interventions, she will help the team finalize eligibility criteria and set up database for tracking study participants during recruitment and to the end of study cycle. Her other major responsibilities include specifying data components and inclusion criteria for obtaining pre- and post-implementation electronic health records (EHRs) and validating raw data collected from three study sites with different EHR systems. In addition, Dr. Huang will oversee the parent- and clinician-surveys in terms of validating survey instrument in REDCap and sample monitoring. After the implementation and data collection, she will ensure all data components from surveys and EHRs are integrated and analyzed using advanced statistical methods.
