Project Details
Description
In year two Northwestern personnel will port work developed at NorthShore in Aims 1 – 3 to the 3T Skyra at Northwestern. They will also request Northwestern IRB approval.
In years three to five the two-site clinical trial segment of this proposal aims to measure the diagnostic performance of 3T QISS MRA versus CTA for the evaluation of peripheral arterial disease (PAD). The participating sites will recruit research subjects with known or suspected PAD who have recently undergone, or are scheduled to undergo standard-of-care peripheral CT angiography. The research subjects will undergo a non-contrast MR angiography examination to evaluate the peripheral arterial anatomy. Digital subtraction angiography performed during subsequent intervention will be used as the reference standard.
