Off Campus costs for High-fidelity and reduced order models to investigate the thermal history and residual stress for powder bed fusion processes

This research will be mainly focused on computational modeling of powder bed fusion process with reasonable experimental validation. The goals of the research are: - Understand the influence of process parameters on thermal history and residual stress - Approximate distortion and residual stress in complex-shaped components - Guide optimal parameter selection and facilitate real-time control for thermal history and residual stress
