Description

Northwestern will perform the following research and education activities. 1. Establish one manufacturing cell at Northwestern and link with other cells at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign using protocols such as MTconnect or other drivers that are ready for integration 2. Develop one scheduling app 3. Participate in planning and executing the testing of the cyberphysical manufacturing network. – This would include planning the processing and routing of a realistic, but simple part through the network to completion. 4. Participate in the development of a short course, for example, some manufacturing and scheduling modules
