Oxidative stress contributes to atrial fibrillation by causing remodeling of the autonomic nervous system

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

The purpose of this study is to look at the muscular mechanism that underlie atrial fibrillation (AF). Specifically, we will be looking at the role of oxidative stress and the autonomic nervous system in the genesis of electrical remodeling and AF.
