Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

The Parkinson’s Progression Markers Initiative (PPMI) is a landmark observational clinical study to comprehensively evaluate cohorts of significant interest using advanced imaging, biologic sampling and clinical and behavioral assessments to identify biomarkers of Parkinson’s disease progression. Northwestern University serves as a clinical site within this study. This is a continuation of work completed so far under SP0010712, the original Parkinson's Progression Markers Initiative, but will require a new protocol. Funds left over from the original PPMI project will be used towards this project.
