Patient Preoperative Health Confidence and Postoperative Outcomes After Cervical Spine Surgery: A Quantitative Analysis

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

In this study, we investigate the quantitative relationship between patient health confidence prior to cervical spine surgery and their postoperative outcomes. To accomplish this, we will analyze patient Health Confidence Score (HCS), Patient-reported Outcomes Measurement Information System (PROMIS) computerized adaptive testing (CAT), and survey question data describing their condition and health confidence before surgery, their condition after surgery, and how satisfied they are with the results.
