Project Details
Description
While patient data are routinely collected in the electronic health record (EHR),
there has been limited capacity to capture, analyze and use these data to improve case identification and outcome assessment in pediatric sepsis. Overcoming these barriers would greatly further efforts to improve the treatment, management, and outcomes of critically ill children. This work addresses the critical need to improve pediatric sepsis outcomes by developing methods to accurately identify at-risk children presenting for emergency care.
