Project Details

Description

The proposed project is a clinical therapy study for individuals with aphasia due to neurodegenerative dementia, which is consistent with ARTFL’s goals of being “dedicated to conducting clinical research in sporadic and familial frontotemporal lobar degeneration (FTLD) syndromes”. We will utilize the ARTFL registry to recruit participants, which will fulfill at least two of ARTFL’s stated goals: 1) “help patients and family members participate in research and improve care of FTLD patients”; 2) “Foster novel research approaches to FTLD by supporting Pilot Projects”.
