PLS Natural History Study

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

The sites will enroll participants and collect information from them at three visits: a baseline visit and two follow-up visits at 6 months and 12 months after baseline. The sites will be paid based on the specific tasks completed for each participant. Additionally, the sites will arrange for the collection of urine by providing participants with urine collection and shipping materials. The eventual collection and shipment of the participants’ urine samples will be coordinated by the CUCC. Sites will also facilitate the scheduling of interviews and questionnaires if needed (e.g. if the participant is difficult to get ahold of). For any of the tasks completed, the sites are paid according to the rates for these tasks. The sites will also participate in monthly conference calls outlined in the study protocol..
