Postdoctoral Partnership Initiative

The Institute’s postdoctoral fellowships are generally shared appointments, spanning the Humanities Institute and another department—or departments—in the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences, School of Communication, or Bienen School of Music. Each open postdoctoral fellowship position has a specific disciplinary or thematic component, and, by design, these themes are open to broad interpretation for the purpose of inclusivity. The fields for the postdocs have been chosen based on emerging areas of research and teaching interest in the humanities or based on increasing potential areas of synergy among units at Northwestern.
