Project Details
Description
The Parkinson’s Progression Markers Initiative (PPMI) Early Stage Investigators Funding Program aims to cultivate the next generation of PPMI clinician-researchers and to increase the impact of PPMI data on the Parkinson’s disease (PD) research field. The PPMI Early Stage Investigators Funding Program will provide funding and study resources, including PPMI Executive Steering Committee mentorship and PPMI Statistics Core support, to selected clinician-researchers at PPMI clinical sites. The program will support approximately 30-40% of an Early Stage Investigator‘s time so that time can be used to analyze PPMI data and prepare accompanying abstracts and manuscripts. Selected Early Stage Investigators will be evaluated based on their productivity, including, but not limited to, analyses posted to open access repositories, assistance given to other PPMI stakeholders, submitted and accepted poster presentations, and submitted and published papers.
