Pre-Procedural Evaluation of High-Risk Patients using Next-Generation Radial QISS (Cost-Reimbursable)

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

The research trial segment of this proposal aims to measure the diagnostic performance of non-contrast QISS MRA by comparing with standard-of-care 1) contrast enhanced MRA in patients undergoing pulmonary vein mapping and 2) contrast enhanced CTA in patients undergoing pre-procedural imaging evaluation prior to transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR). In the case of pulmonary vein mapping, patients will be recruited at the time of clinically ordered MRA and consented to include the non-contrast QISS MRA as a part of the clinical imaging protocol. TAVR patients will be recruited in coordination with Northwestern Cardiology TAVR team and, following informed consent, a research MRI will be performed at or around the time of their standard of care pre-procedural CTA. This agreement will be a fixed-price contract with a total of 52 patients.
