Project Details
Description
To support this objective, members of the Collaborative, which includes faculty from Northwestern University, University of Pennsylvania, and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, will work together to develop and pilot test a remote blood pressure monitoring intervention that utilizes mobile and health information technology to promote the early detection and treatment of preeclampsia. This two-year project (the Preeclampsia Research and Innovation for Maternal Engagement or PRIME study) will inform at least one subsequent, external grant application to further evaluate the intervention in a randomized controlled trial.
