Description
Dr. Gordon will serve as PI and Dr. Isakova will serve as co-investigator at Northwestern University for the study entitled, “Promoting Autonomy and Improving Shared Decision-making for Older Adults with Advanced Kidney Disease.” Drs. Gordon and Isakova will develop site-specific recruitment strategies and enrollment protocols, develop local data collection systems, and oversee implementation and conduct of the trial. They will work closely and collaboratively with Tufts University. They will ensure approval to conduct the study from the Northwestern University IRB, monitor participant recruitment and data collection, ensure fidelity and adherence to the intervention and submit performance reports to their Tufts colleagues for the duration of the project. They will collaborate with Tufts to develop dissemination strategies and to share study findings with stakeholders and funding agencies.
