Description

The Northwestern University MACS site will participate in the MOUTH (Men and women Offering Understanding of Throat HPV) study. This will include: • getting local IRB approval for the project • administering informed consent to participants • tracking which participants are targeted for enrollment and when they are due for MOUTH sub-study follow-up • collecting biological samples (oral rinse, saliva, and urine) from enrolled participants one per year for four years • collecting MOUTH study survey on participants once per year for four years • providing participant incentive for study participation • refer participants for optional oral examination (select visits, per protocol) In addition, sites will: • store samples at 4 degrees Celsius and ship every 1-2 weeks to the JHU study biorepository, packaging samples for shipment in compliance with IATA regulations for shipping category B samples. • use the study Redcap system to track participants’ enrollment and sample collection in the study, and to inform when samples are shipped
