Project Details
Description
This proposal is aimed at organizing a series of three Envisioning Workshops for Computing in Undergraduate Education with the goal of sparking this national dialog. More specifically, the workshops will be aimed at elucidating and expanding on the general challenge enunciated above, in order to produce more detailed, and potentially more actionable, understandings of the problems it encompasses. At the same time, these workshops will be aimed at producing greater alignment within the CS research and educational community, and stakeholder communities based in other disciplines, about the importance and nature of these problems, and how we might work together to address them more comprehensively and more effectively.
