Description

To support Public Perceptions of Artists in Communities: Phase II Research, which builds from a pilot survey in order to refine and expand measures to capture public perceptions of artists in local communities and examine potential changes in perceptions over time. This study includes questionnaire development, cognitive interviews, survey administration with a nationally representative sample of adults, and analysis and reporting of the study’s findings. The results will offer a means for researchers, policymakers, and cultural and community leaders to monitor and test current hypotheses about a shifting cultural policy paradigm within the U.S.
