Description
Shiozaki will be responsible for developing a downfolding method that is compatible with quantum computer hardware in the near future. This will be done by extending the so-called active space decomposition method that the Shiozaki group has developed in the past few years. In addition, as an expert in relativistic quantum chemistry, he will have a leading role in the efforts for developing the algorithms for solving relativistic quantum chemical problems using quantum computers.
