Project Details
Description
It has been 2 years since we have had any support for further data analysis and publication, and this has slowed down our progress enormously. The institution where this work was done (UIC Medical Center) ended the first-episode schizophrenia program and has changed its research focus to depressive disorders. Fortunately we have been able to partner with Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine to move the data to their schizophrenia research facility, and continue our work there. Funding from Sidney R. Baer Jr. , Foundation will provide the necessary support to complete the move, and pay the salary of a junior statistician and consulting time for a senior statistician associated with this research program, as well as travel support to present the final report to key schizophrenia research meeting. The progress made so far means that the Sidney R. Baer Jr. support will help us cross a very important finish line. We will need 12 months to meet the goals of analyzing, presenting, and writing a manuscript ready for submission.
