Refinement and expansion of the Palliative Care Research Cooperative Group

Northwestern University will be a site for the Duke University Medical Center and University of Colorado Health Sciences – Denver proposal in response to RFA-NR-13-004, NIH Limited Competition: Palliative Care Research Co-Operative (PCRC) (U24). Adeboye Ogunseitan, MD is the Northwestern site Principal Investigator, and he will lead the Northwestern recruitment site. As a recruitment site for the PCRC, Northwestern investigators and staff will implement a series of new research protocols selected through a competitive scientific review process during the 5 year study period. Dr. Ogunseitan will serve as site PI for each PCRC protocol implemented at Northwestern. He will oversee recruitment and data collection at the Northwestern site. Dr. Ogunseitan will obtain IRB site approval and will supervise the Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) responsible for site project management, subject enrollment, informed consent, and data collection.
