Project Details
Description
This project seeks to improve employment resources for people with PD and their healthcare team by connecting rehabilitation counselors to the interdisciplinary team. Early employment interventions have helped people with other chronic illness retain employment, but limited resources are available for people with PD. Traditionally vocational rehabilitation is triggered to help people with disabilities return to work, but focusing on job retention would fill a critical opportunity to improve employment outcomes and quality of life for people with PD.
