Project Details
Description
This proposal seeks an Educational Support Grant for the Northwestern University Feinberg School of medicine Fellowship in Rheumatology. The Northwestern University Rheumatology Training Program is committed to advancing the future of rheumatology through fellowship training and by enhancing the educational experience of residents who desire to pursue a career in rheumatology. Our training program consists of an intensive first year of clinical training followed by a two year mentored research experience in either the clinical or basic sciences. All fellows who pursue clinical research are encouraged to pursue a Master of Public Health degree or a Master of Science in Clinical Investigation offered through the Northwestern University Graduate School. Laboratory oriented fellows have the opportunity to obtain a PhD as part of the Integrated Graduate Program in the Life Sciences. Our primary goal is to produce graduates with the knowledge and skills to succeed in an academic career.
