Description

This proposal’s overall objective is to introduce spatially distributed sensorimotor capabilities in architected materials for autonomous morphing and adaptation via energy-efficient, electrochemical actuation strategies and 3D printing. The new materials and 3D printing methods developed by this program will pioneer energy-efficient, shape-changing structures for novel unmanned aircraft capabilities
