Description

The role of Northwestern University staff and researchers in this project includes:- developing survey questionnaires, overseeing institutional review boards submission(IRS) to the NU Office of the Human Research Protection Program,- recruitment and enrollment of up to 185 participants per year for two years;- administering ACASI surveys; collecting, preparing, and shipping biological specimensfor testing by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).- NU will also be responsible for maintaining the patient-specimen link beforeprocessing for shipment to the CDC.- NU will maintain all prepared specimens per protocol storage specifications untilshipped to CDC.- The NU team will also participate in the analyses of data andpreparation of presentations and manuscripts for publication and dissemination.
