Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

As the translational medicine coordinator, my role will be to coordinate the TST placement at the protocol sites that open S1602. Work includes creation of a video demonstration of TST placement and measurement. Subsequent responsibilities will include assistance with test acquisition from the manufacturer, placing the TST, and reading their analysis at 48-72 hrs. Urology clinics, in which will be enrolling patients, will require coordination to ensure they are able place and read the TST. In addition to assisting with test results interpretation, I will assist with management and reporting of known TST side effects. After study entry, the TST will be measured at 3 and 6 months of therapy. We will plan to have the TST placed at a local site and this will likely require coordination within the protocol site.
