Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

The purpose of this agreement is to conduct a conference on intellectual property (IP) and entrepreneurship. Research Conference The conference will be a one-and-a-half-day event attended by at least one author from each paper accepted into the project. The choice of conference participants will be based on a call for papers and invitations to participate. The conference program will be organized by Daniel F. Spulber and Stuart Graham. We plan to hold the conference at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL, USA, and will support travel and lodging for no more than two authors from each paper to attend the meetings. We expect to have no more than twenty papers presented at the conference, paying travel and accommodation expenses of the researchers and discussants (one discussant per paper). We plan to include up to two keynote speakers. We expect that several research projects will involve multiple authors, with several possibly from outside the US. Estimates for meeting expenses may include meal expenses (breakfast, lunch, dinner and breaks, as appropriate), room rental fees, audio/visual expenses, duplicating, postage, supplies and conference organizing costs.
